City workshop – the art of travel photography
Take part in a one-day workshop on the subjects of travel, landscape, and city photography under the tutelage of the internationally renowned and highly acclaimed star photographer Manfred Baumann. His best travel photos were recently showcased in an exclusive picture book from National Geographic, and he has already had celebrities including Tony Curtis, John Malkovich, William Shatner, Kathleen Turner, and Steve Guttenberg in front of his camera.
The photography course in Vienna is ideal for beginners and for photographers with some experience who want to improve their skills. Travel photography is compelling because it allows the most beautiful places in the world to be captured and invites the viewer to daydream. But how do you create such a picture? What must be in the frame to achieve a striking effect? How do I spot the extraordinary?
Manfred Baumann will talk about these aspects and much more with the participants briefly in theory, and will then take the group on a walk through Vienna to put these ideas into practice. Think outside the box and learn to see the remarkable to take unforgettable pictures! Manfred will help you with many valuable tips and tricks as you explore one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Discover some of its many surprises, and look over the shoulder of a real star photographer as he works.
